Enjoy a fabulous night of inspiration and music from Award-winning performers, Jan Garret and JD Martin.

There’s a Heart of Harmony we are all longing to tune into. Its the direct experience of remembering, with great relief, who we really are. The words suggest a path, the music takes us there!

Jan Garrett and JD Martin are singer/songwriters and longtime musicians who live and create our music in the mountains of Colorado, near Aspen,  writing together for 24 years, and happily married for almost that long.  Together they written and recorded 9 albums of original songs, many of which have won awards in the world of Positive Music, and beyond.

Better Angels:
The title comes from Abraham Lincoln’s First Inaugural Address, in 1861:

“We are not enemies, but friends. We must not be enemies. Though passion may have strained, it must not break our bonds of affection. The mystic chords of memory, stretching from every battlefield and patriot grave to every living heart and hearthstone all over this broad land, will
yet swell the chorus of the Union, when again touched, as surely they will be, by the Better Angels of our Nature.”

Fierce Harmony:
We are all living through an especially intense and challenging time in history right now, both here in our country and all over the planet!
Einstein said that you can’t solve a problem from the same level of consciousness that created.  So, here is an invitation for each of us to double down on our spiritual practice, and then show up bringing our highest gifts and talents blazing into this world, making a difference in the best possible way.
We think that really great music has a way of going beyond politics, beyond entrenched differences of opinions and ideologies, beyond divisive in-fighting….and lands deeply, powerfully, right in the center of the Heart.  It is from that universal place of fierce harmony that we have written and produced this album.
