A mythic gathering for Mothers & Daughters (age 12+), and Women of all ages.

Mythology is filled with women who ride goats, marry bears, tame beasts and roam the forest speaking an antlered language. Our community and world are in need of such women right now to inspire a remembrance of our fierce human dignity and dedication to the common good. So, on this Earth Day weekend, we will hear, sing, dance, and dramatize the stories of these mythic women. We will bring their messages of strength, grace, connection and full embrace of life forward into our bodies, paintings, games and drama.

This will be a gathering rich with connection to nature, playful practices of self-expression, collaborative creation, and rejuvenation of body, family and soul through the power of myth. Together we will enliven our spirit of connection and service to the land and its wild inhabitants.

No prior dance or arts experience needed. Our soul-focused methods create a welcoming environment for exploration.

Sunday April 23rd, 10 am to 3 pm.  Fee: $60-75, sliding scale.
With live professional accompaniment for our dance and drama and mid-morning snacks provided.

TO REGISTER: Email to receive instructions on making your pre-payment. Registration deadline is April 14th.

This event is part of our Mythkeepers teen program and ‘The Body & The Land’ women’s program.
